How to use E7 as dac only?

How do I use my E7 as a dac only with another portable amp. I was disappointed with the amp in the E7 with fullsize phones. So I'm looking for an amp to mate with it that has more power to design a poetable rig.

I'm not really sure what you mean here.  Do you mean you want to use it as a portable DAC...?  Or plug another amp into it while it's being used as a DAC for your computer?

 

You could always just use an interconnect to plug the headphone output to another amp, and turn the volume on the E7 up to about 50-55 or so.  Or you could get the LOD attachment that will give you a line-out, I think you can get one from mp4nation?

You need to get the L7 adaptor for it...I currently have my e7 powering a tube amp, I do not have the L7 yet (found this out 3 days ago) but running the e7 volume to max does not produce any distortion.
