Hey guys. I am rocking a pair of ATH-A700s with my titanium HD, and things sounds great. Unfortunately, I am having trouble on the microphone end. My Zalman mic is very faint even when at max volume, and as the titanium HD has no mic boost it can go no higher. I tried using my onboard for the mic, but the quality is rather bad once I bring it up to the needed +20/+30 boost needed to make it reasonably audible. As a result, I am looking for a new clip-on/ lapel mic to replace it.
I will use the mic exclusively for gaming, so I am not needing studio-level sound here. Just looking for a solid lapel/clip-on that people can hear me reasonably with. If anyone has suggestions for a mic that will meet my needs, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
