HD515 for 40 on craigs new...superior to superlux'?

some guy has new senn hd515 for 40 OBO...ive read theyre decent for their price of 85. I want to know how they compare to the superlux line and samson sr850. How would the sennheiser sound out of an android device "i have an eq app and listen to FLAC and occaisionally Pandora on high for new music" compared to the 32ohm samson. I listen to Jazz fusion "Think Return to forever, Billy Cobham, Mahavishnu" Rock "Cage the elephant, everything in this genre with sense"

 

I want somthing very versitile and i happen to like smoothed highs "not too much, just dont like sibilance" and needs to have a somewhat impactful bass. 

 

apparently thats the sound of sennheisers, but i dont like "distant" headphones, i like an occaisional kick in the ass to get me happy and jamming.

i love my senn 515's .  They are smooth across the whole spectrum.  base is tight but impactful.  i just tried them with some jazz recordings and they sounded very good

The person sold them... Guess I have to chose from harx 700s, koss ur55 modded, sennheiser 448 on amazon, or those maxell dhp ii.
