I was thinking about picking up a SB recon fatal1ty and sennheiser pc 360s for primarily gaming.  I need my speakers to work with the headphones plugged in though because i can't reach behind to the jacks. I currently use a cheap radio shack 3.5mm splitter, but any sound quality loss is lost on the low quality hardware so it's not like i'd notice it anyway.  Would using the splitter negate the point of spending hundreds of dollars on hardware?  I've seen switches, but they all seem cheap, too.  Are there any other options?  thanks
