If you can listen to that volume level and have your ears be fine (i.e no soreness, ringing, etc) after a few hours then I'd say you aren't doing too much damage to your hearing.
If it starts distorting and if you ears cant take the SPL

When you can't take the volume.
For a serious answer, a good non-scientific way to see if something will damage your hearing after normal listening sessions of 30 minutes to 2 hours, is to hold the headphones 2 inches away from your ears while playing music, and then have someone speak to you at normal conversation levels about 6 feet away. For most headphones, a safe level would be where the headphones and the person are at roughly equal sound levels, at their respective distances. This should work for most earbuds and IEMs too. It's definitely not medical advice and will vary from headphone to headphone and user to user, but it's a good baseline to use if you're worried.
