Hey everyone!
I have a pair of HD600s that I got last year, along with an E9 amp. This year I decided to get an E7 to pair up with the E9, as I wanted a DAC and figured that I might as well get that one since I have a dock for it (possibly a mistake, but given the price it's no big deal).
Anyways, everything is hooked up and I can hear fine. It is definitely a noticeable difference (sigh of relief...) and I am happy with what I hear - except for one thing: sometimes (maybe once every 2 minutes? Definitely often enough to be annoying) the music/sound will shut off and then resume again about a half second later. No content is lost - that is, it is as if during the silence the music was paused rather than muted.
Why could this be? I lost the usb cable that came with the E9 so I got one from Micro Center (a computer place) that was rated at USB 2.0 and cost $15 from a company called "QVS". It looked a little "no-namey" (compared to maybe, say, a Belkin cable they had for twice the price?)
Still, it's USB 2.0 and it is connected to a USB 3.0 port on my computer, so I don't see why this would be an issue. Might it be anything else? The pausing is getting rather frustrating
Thanks a lot for the help!
