i just bought the westone talk series headphones to replace my etymotic hf2 and hf3. the sound is different, each has its pluses, but i think i prefer the ety sound a bit better than the westones bold low end. reason for me getting the westones is because of the braided cable. ive gone through 5 pairs of hf2's because the cables just break.
now to the real issue at hand. it seems that the westones have a problem with the iphone 4s (everything is fine when i try on the iphone 4 something is different with the 4s). the person on the phone hears you correctly, but when that person speaks he hears an echo of himself. ive tried different things to no avail. i can not remedy this issue, my ety hf2 and hf3 do not have his problem. like stated before, the problem is isolated to the westone TS-1 and iphone 4s. the combo of westone TS-1 and iphone 4 works fine. ive also tried multiple iphone 4s's and same problem.
What do you guys think could be the issue?
