Resleeve sennheiser ie8i cable?

Hey guys, it's been really cold out recently and every time I walk out with my ie8 my wire becomes stiff. So I was wondering if it were possible to remove the current plastic sleeving and perhaps resleeve it with a thicker plastic housing for the wiring or do you guys have some other ideas? I'm sorry if I'm not using the incorrect terminologies and thank you!

No. There are really only 2 options. Total recable or sleeving the existing with this. Of course you have to cut up your existing cable and heatshrink it. Along with plenty of small wire soldering.

Best of luck! Let us know what happens.
