Need advice on Apple IEMs

Hi, I want to buy Apple In-ear Headphones MA850G for my SONY walkman. I need to know will it work properly, I suppose the remote control and mic won't work, but I don't really care about those, these are very cheap headphones, and bass-light, so that's why I'm buying them. Will the mic create any problems on the sound?

Also, I want to get these from ebay, but I heard there's a lot  of fakes there... how do I find the real ones?

Easy. The very cheap ones on Ebay are fake. The real ones are $59. Perhaps a used one might be as low as $29.  Check Amazon. Don't use this with anything but an Apple product. For under $59(and even under $29) there are many good IEM choices. Do you want one that sounds neutral, or an extra bass one?

A good low priced neutral IEM is the meelectronics CX21 which is around $20 on Amazon. Another interesting low cost IEM with nice highs and not too much bass is the JVC HAFXC51, also around $20 on Amazon.

I wanted to buy these because of dual BA drivers. I prefer light bass. I don't have any apple products to use them on, only sony mp3 player.

every other BA dual drivers phones are at least twice as expensive...

Are you sure you need a dual driver BA design?

The Soundmagic PL30 and PL50 both provide quite balanced sound, and should be around your price range.

Remember, more does not mean better. Case in point: 7 driver headphones purported to provide surround sound but ending up sounding like a mess compared to single-driver counterparts.
