So since my tritton ax720's broke (lasted me a good 3 years) here is what I had in mind so far. I already have a pair of Razer Orcas, but they are not surround sound and they don't have a mic. My brother (audiophile) suggest I get a Astro Mix Amp and a Zalman clip on mic, but I was wondering if that would work out since the mic isnt even connected to the headset. Also I dont feel like dropping another 150 dollars or so on a headset again. Someone help me I don't want to buy a mix amp to find out doesn't work.
