usb dac with headphone amp

Hi

Just bought beyerdynamic T70. Had a nuforce dac2 from earlier that I'm using now, but I'm looking for a bit more "advanced" dac with headphone amp. I don't want to use more than maybe 200-300$ but I want it to be one unit (dac + amp).

 

I have been looking at aune X1 and Fubar 4. Any comments? I can't seem to find many reviews on th aune X1.

For what they are, they're not bad at the price point.

However, if you were to up your budget some, you'll step into a new league that does offer a nice bump in improvement.  For example, you won't do much better with this combo for $400.  They are separates.  I understand your desire to keep the components together, but going separates can give you additional quality for a better price sometimes.

thanks. maybe I should reconsider going for separate amp and dac. Schiit asgard looked really nice!
