Good looking Headphones for rock and metal - Page 2

I don't think he was referring to the OP's request, just responding to a comment about how the HD600s sound with electric guitars.  And on that point, I agree, the SR325i(s) kills the HD600 in both mids and treble for electric guitars.

My vote's for the HFI-780s. They look killer, too.

I have AD900's and Alessandro MS Pro's which are 2-3 times the price and I prefer the ad900's. I find the MS Pro's too fatiguing and I can't listen to them with metal for that long, ad900 I can listen to for hours with no effects... but not just that, I prefer the sound of the ad's as well (and comfort) deeper bass, guitars sound just as good (better for my taste) and I really like the airy feel to them.

I've tried many headphones, AD2000, AKG701, Shure 440, Shure 940, Beyer DT880, SR225i, AD700 but AD900 remains my favourite, especially for metal.

The HD-25 I II and the Aiaiai TMA-1's both are great for metal.

(you can buy the HD-25's adidas version)
