Seeking Recommendations for High Quality Music Listening Headphones

My 2nd pair of Corsair HS1's have malfunctioned, so I am looking for something else. Initially I purchased these because:

  • Pseudo 7.1 with drivers that makes the sound emanating from the headphones seem as if its coming from the room around you. I really enjoyed this effect. 
  • Decent Audio Quality

 

 

As for recommendations to replace the HS1, I do not need a microphone or anything for gaming, just something that will provide high quality music. Preference to headphones with pseduo 7.1 (I am assuming this is for USB headsets only). If your recommendation happens to be analogue I do not have a soundcard, but I am willing to purchase one if the headset warrants it.

 

Again the main quality I am looking for in a new headset is high quality music, I mostly listen to ambient/electronic e.g. pendulum.

High quality music pretty much excludes fake 7.1, sorry. The Razor Megalodon is 3.5mm and has a 7.1 effect btw. It likes sound your in a bathroom covered in damping material though. What's your price range?

$150 and maybe a bit beyond that within reason.
