Looking to upgrade headphone, listening to EDM and own a small amp

Like I said in the title, I am looking to purchase a second headphone in the price range $200-300. Could be a little cheaper or expensive, of course. My first headphones were the Audio-Technica M50, which I still really like.

I have the Fiio E11, for additional boost in the low frequencies.

I use the Sansa Fuze with line out to the E11 and then to the M50

I listen to EDM (Electronic dance music, which consists of trance, house, minimal, dubstep, techno etc.)

I just simply want a superior sounding pair of cans, but at the same time, don't wanna spend much, much more than I initially spent (around $110). $300 I would have no problem spending if I can a pair that convinces me, I hope you get what I am trying to say.

I've done a lot of research before I bought those M50, I was between that and the Ultrasone 580/DJ1's. However, for this one, I am kinda clueless

Please help :) Thank you

HFi580 is a very good headphone, i like them much more than M50, but its not really a superior headphone technically speaking. If you want really better, for EDM take the Pro900.

Do you want a bassy headphone again, or do you wish to branch out into more types of sound signatures?

I was looking at the Pro 900, thanks for the suggestion.
Doesn't have to be a bassy one, my first headphone was for sure on the heavier side. But at has to be at least average or above average on the lower frequencies, since EDM does not sound right without bass.
But yeah, i dont wanna exclude myself to only bassy headphones, I am open to any :)

Thanks, I'll take them into consideration for sure.
Any other suggestions?
I'd like to have a small list, and could do some research on them.
What do you guys think about the DT-770 or 990? Or Sennheiser HD 600 for example?

Pro900 is a step up from DT770 and even DT990 imo.

HD600 is an excellent open headphone, balanced, but not very good for EDM imo and require a good amp.

Pro2900 is a fantastic all rounder, but not in your price range for the moment (in US).

Pro 900 is my #1 rec for EDM.  Powerful bass, very fast response, large soundstage, very detailed.  The mids aren't as prominent as some people would like, but they are still very clear and audible.  HFI-780 is also very good in a lower price range, and HFI-580 may be even better for it, though I haven't heard it.  DT770 is excellent for more laid-back electronic music due to the massive sub-bass and large soundstage, but I find it too slow and not punchy enough for faster music.  I have yet to hear any Denons, but the D2000 is another consideration that is well-loved, though what I've read makes me worry that it might have some of the same issues as the DT770, though perhaps less so.  HD600 is also great for many genres, but I don't consider EDM to be one of them.
