I am of the understanding that the Clip+, Fuze and Clip Zip all have the same headphone jack technology. I am tired of Sandisk. Their products suck. I have had two Clip+'s and each time the headphone jack has failed. The right channel falls constantly and/or becomes half present on a regular basis. I don't throw the player around or anything. Google it. It's a problem. Also, there seems to be some noise from the Rockbox firmware.

Sandisk won't have any more of my money unless they correct the problem.

Well, it's never happened to me.....neither the headphone jack issue in the two Clip+, three Fuze,  two original Clips I had, or the three Zips I now have, or the Rockbox noise. I've heard enough about the headphone jack to not brush it off like it doesn't exist, but I've never had to deal with it.

Guess you'll have to pay more for something new.smile.gif

It is a great value, the Fuze....I've had three(or was it four?) of them over the last few years. Never tried one through the line-out, but that is probably what the OP would want to use....and that would also bypass my main beef with the Fuze.....no dedicated volume control. Using the LO would allow one to use the amp's volume control.

And the fact that it is very small and with a small portable amp it makes for a great portable rig.

Samsung YP's for radio quality, the best I've heard and much better than Sansa's radio.

Also Fuze biggrin.gif
