Hi.
I'm looking to get myself a pair of HD650s from sennheiser. I'm completely new to the world of headphones as well but have been doing a bit of reading around. From what I gather, there was an update in the HD650s at some point, and they have different colour drivers? Can anyone give some more details on that so I can tell the difference?
Also, it seems that these headphones have been on the market for quite a while (not sure when the update was released so could be wrong). I was wondering if anyone had caught wind of when there might be future replacements to these or any other news like that.
And if there's anything in general you might want to add in terms of alternatives or just comments about the headphones please feel free. I've had a look at quite a few threads on here but just in case there's something worth mentioning please do. I read up a fair bit on the Grado SR325is as well. They seem to be on about the same level, but opposite ends of the sound spectrum. I think the HDs would better suit what I'm after, a more relaxed experience. I'm also noting that compared to what I currently have, i'm quite sure i'll be taken aback by whatever I choose ;)
