To add or not to add a driver - for triple.fi custom reshell.

I'm planning to reshell my triple.fis and am wondering whether its worth shelling out the extra cash to add a driver to make it a quad driver per side CIEM.

 

Anyone that has added drivers would care to share the sonic differences before and after the addition of the driver?

I am facing the same pickle, i have shortlisted Unique Melody to do the reshelling for me - however not sure if adding an additional driver would make them sound better (i like the way they sound now) - how much would the sound signature change and would it change for better or worse?

 

If anyone who has done the reshelling can share some thoughts....

I to have parked this idea aside for sometime with a conclusion that its might be a good idea to add the additional Mid driver. But as i was hoovering over this idea, i pulled the trigger on HD 650 (impulse and a deal hard to look away fromvery_evil_smiley.gif). next on my list is a decent budget DAC + AMP combo - the list never seems to end atsmile.gif
