Nothing lately.  The audio equipment that I have found I enjoy, I discovered through experimentation....certainly not based on reviews and advice from the vast majority of folks here.  There are still a few good ones around but for the most part, this forum is made up of shills, trolls, and fanboys that like to start trouble when you express a view that differs from theirs.  I've learned more from other sites...specifically the DIY sites.  This place was a great resource years ago, but now it's just a place I come to for selling/buying things.

25.  Audiophile forums are a terrible place to meet women.

26.  Sediment always falls to the bottom of the wine bottle over time.  Wait for FOTM to die down and you'll see which headphones are really good and which ones are get sold off.

27. Sturgeon's law most definitely applies to posts on head-fi.

28. So does Heinlein's razor.  Most "shills" are just people who found something better than what they heard before and suggest it to everyone.

33. Just because a product has many reviews / an appreciation thread doesn't imply that it's any good.
34. Just because a product has no reviews / no thread discussion doesn't imply that it's terrible.

35. It's easier to pretend you know something than to actually know something.

36. You can get away with a lot of things without a PM from a moderator, but you can't stick Jude's face on a forum meme.

37. Ponies are awesome.

38. The best can for your needs may not necessarily be the most expensive one you can afford or a manufacturer's flagship.

39. You may be better off with a variety of more modest cans/setups than one "end-all-be-all" one.

40. Ascending model numbers do not necessarily reflect quality/ranking.
