This amp seems to be a one off or prototype that Craig did prior to a full run (it's #1). It turned out that the transformers would no longer be available so thus ended the planned Equilibrato line. Conditionwise I'd say it's an 8/10 - the same as when I received it.
Included are "starter" tubes - a pair of Chinese TJ 300b mesh and Tung-Sol 6sl7gt (different tubes are pictured). I can vouch that with Sophia Mesh 300b tubes and other 6sl7's there's great deal of improvement to be had. I am also astonished at just how good this amp sounds with my Grado HP-2!
The skinny:
-Dual 3-pin balanced output and single ended headphone output
-Three 3-pin balanced inputs and one set of RCA inputs
-Balanced inputs indeed work with single ended headphone output
-Supposed to be very close to Balancing Act in sound quality
Full disclosure notes:
-As far as I know it takes 300b and 300b only, it may take other tubes with modding
-The left TJ300b tube has a little bit of glass bouncing around the inside (see last pic). The tubes came new this way to the OP and now have several hundred hours of use. As long as it's wedged in the bottom somewhere it should still work just fine.
I am asking $2100 (bear in mind was $2800 new without tubes) which includes shipping via FedEx Ground. Payment methods I accept are cashiers check or money order and Paypal. I ask that the buyer pays any applicable Paypal fees. The amp will ship in two or three separate boxes. I may consider trades as well depending on what you have.
