Sennheiser HD 600 with bassy music? - Page 2

I have the HD600 and do not recommend it for electronic music.  I don't find the bass strong enough nor fast enough.  The Pro 900 is a solid rec and is also my go-to phone for that kind of music.

Bass is one of the most subjective audio interpretations out there.  I have the Beyerdynamic DT990 and the Sennheiser HD600.  On paper, the 990s have more bass than the 600s, but to my ears, I hear more bass in the 600s.  I think they have more than adequate bass for rock, metal, electonica, dubstep, and hip hop.

Ya the initial problem was that i wanted one headphone that worked for a large amount of genres. but i figured out that that doesn't work until you go into another tier of higher priced headphones. For example I think LCD 2 works well with all the genre's the I listen to. Will most likely go with pro 900.
