Colorfly C4 Owners - Help needed

Hello,

 

Any C4 owners who successfully updated the firmware?

 

Picked up a color fly C4 for xmas. 

 

Went online to see if there is a new firmware and noticed one was available.

 

Downloaded and copied the .iso file onto the music folder. Restarted the device but it doesn't recognize the file.

 

So frustrated right now as I have contacted color fly's support email and have not received any responses whatsoever.

 

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

hmm tried to run the iso with a emulating disk software like deamon tools ? Sounds strange to just put a disk image on the device , i would try to mount the image just to check if there are any executeables

I think you have to put it in the root of the 'disk', not into any music folder. It should also be on the internal drive, so remove the memory card if you had that inserted as well. Put it in the root, reboot, should work. Also the ISO is not mountable, the format seems to be proprietary.
