This exactly matched my experience with these these 3 phones. (I traded my HE6s for HE500s and I'm much happier. The other 2 are main go-to phones.)

I certainly enjoyed my 4 Audeze cans but only the last pair didn't require service upon receiving them.  Not a great service rate, but the turn around is quick.

I'm two for two with edit: Rosewood non angled LCD2's, no problems at all smile.gif

Two for Three here. Only had problems with wood cracking on the Rosewood non angled LCD's.

I just spoke with Audeze and they have replaced both drivers in my LCD3s. No specifics about what caused the right channel to konk out. So i get to hear a pair break in, which is cool. They should arrive back here tomorrow. I am looking forward to it. It may be an inconvenience but their's is the best customer service I have ever encountered.

Mine weren't show stopped problems.  First pair was super dark, second pair has uneven pads height and placement, third pair came back from unveiling with mismatched drivers.

whats the tell-tale sign that your drivers are mismatched?

One side is louder than the other. Pulls the centre image to one side. On mine it was 2dB.
