Will the Intruder match the mk3 on this? I wonder.

I'm so close to investing in a pair of LCD-3s, but I'd really love to listen to them first. Does anyone live in New York City that would be willing to meet up? Happy to bring beers/my iBasso DX100 and HE-400s.

Is there any balanced cable cheaper than the 80$ one from audeze ?

Nope.  Unless you can solder, then you can convert your 1/4" for all of $5.

Or check here or here for cheap options.

Blue Jeans Cable will make one if you email them with the specifics.

Hi Justin, would you please post the details here?

Is it during this weekend the meet is set for? Even if not, there are a lot of people in the NY area who would like to know about it, besides visitors like myself.

Thank you for posting.

While I would love to stay to be able to attend, we are scheduled to fly home right after Crossroads and the New York Audio Show.  Schucks, and my old stomping grounds too!

Maybe next time. Have a great meet all of you who are attending!

Hi,

Has anyone had the opportunity to compare headphone cables? I'm considering the usual suspects; Moon Audio, ALO Audio, Stefen Audio Art (Endorphin), Whiplash, Cardas Clear. I'm using an Apex  Peak/Volcano. Thanks,

I will soon have my whiplash 8 conductor hybrid v3. I will share some words when it's connected. There will only be stock comparison by order from my wallet!

Amazingly none of your usual suspects are actual usual suspects /facepalm

Look up Q-Audio, Toxic and DHC.

Q-Audio,Toxic and DHC seem to be popular here (headfi), but it's difficult to find reviews on these cables. Of course that doesn't mean that they aren't excellent cables. Any impressions on these cables (your usual suspects or mine)?

Just pointing out that your list is mostly HD650 time period cables and my list from the LCD time frame.  Just don't pay more than $250 no matter where you go.
