Hey guys, I am in the market for a non amped around ear headphone to play nice with iPods, iPhone, and Mac. I listen to mp3s ripped at 192 or higher. So it needs to be forgiving.  I currently use the bowers p5, but the fit irritates me. I love the souf signature though. So I'm looking for a similar sound in around ear.

Neutral, not tinny, warm/dark, I like bass, but I don't want it as relaxed as sennheiser 555. I like the sound of the p5. I'm new to this sort of thing. I listen to metal all genres, prog rock , singer song writer, electronica. Just a good all around headphone for my diff taste in music. Thanks guys!

200-300 price limit.

The Ultrasone Pro900, Klipsch Mode M40, M80 and Sony Z1000 are recommended and they all sound greately detailed and offers deep punchy bass.

OH wow thanks! I'll look into each of those. The one I've been looking up has been the audio tech m50. How's that compared to the others and p5?
