  1. As much as i don't want to do this, looks like I will have to sell my pride and joy as we are looking to move house in the new year.

    Amp is 100v with Airlink stepdown transformer ( 230v - 100v )

    Have been using it to power my Audeze LCD-2s and the sound is enthralling.

    In excellent condition.

     

    1. Something else I should let you know, a few weeks after I received the amp it stopped working. I sent it to Vintage Wireless in Sale, Cheshire and they diagnosed and replaced a blown resistor. At the same time they serviced the amp and gave it a clean bill of health.

       

      SOLD GBP without stepdown transformer.

       

      Shipping and paypal fees to be added.

Good lord I wish I had money to spare right now, alas I do not. Good luck with the sale, and sorry you have to part with what I understand to be quite a gem of an amplifier.

Whats the go on the step down transformer as far as any impact on SQ or performance ? Im interested in your opinion as you actually are using the setup. I am in a 230v country and am looking closely at the leben cs300xs.

Can't really answer that as I have not heard a 230v version for comparison.

I asked the question to Leben how much it would cost to have the amp converted to 230v. Yoshi Hontani of Leben emailed me back saying that it would not be worth the improvement in sound quality.

If you have not already sold your Leben, I would be interested. Do you have any idea what it would cost to ship to Ottawa, Canada? As well, how as payments made?  I am unfamiliar with the transaction process.

Oh no!!!!! It took time but I was selling stuff like crazy for a couple weeks and now it was just sold exactly when I could drop the cash.
