Yeah, for jsut an amp.Most would get the E11. But if you need both an amp and DAC. the E17 :) I can just imagine..open headphones on BF3...never experienced that...me jelly :)

Remember the L9 and LOD's only work for ipod's and iphones.(i forgot if it worked with ipad) don't try plugging into your Zune or something.

it does make a difference. with headphones omg..yes.. the cracks and pops and booms... Hi-Fi is best for audiophile headphones

I know I'm bursting in out of nowhere but I've been creeping this thread and I'm confused with one thing:

so if you have the E17 does that mean you don't need a lineout do go with it?
