Sell Beat Pros and do what? - Page 5

Grado's are good with rock and not too too bassy genre's. R&B i heard sounds pretty good on those. Grado's main points are rock though. :) Hope you enjoy them. if you ever need closed ones that have a similar "sound signature" as in one that has a tendancy towards vocals but can also make R&B sound good and what not. Shure is for you.

They arrived at my dads work - can't wait. I heard there is build quality issues with sr60/80is lower end models. Are there any problems with the 325is? as quite worried now.

Haven't heard of many problems with the SR60 and 80i's. Yet to hear much from 325i owners

I've had my 325is' for the better part of a year; not a peep of trouble so far.

I hear that - I'm a newcomer here as well, but have a long hi-fi backstory of my own, both personally and professionally. Never judge a member by post count alone.

I have the 325is as well as the Senn HD 25-1 IIs. I'd have recommended the Grados based on their open-back design (low isolation), but wasn't certain as to how you'd like them for portable use outdoors (I prefer greater isolation when listening out-and-about, hence my buying the HD 25s as well - horses for courses and all that). They both sound superb to my ears. Let us know how you end up liking them!
