Hi, like the title says. Im new to this forum - looks pretty awesome.
I need advice on the stereo system on my computer. I am using it mainly to music, editing and mixing (in cubase and nuendo) .
nothing too professional(Im a student so short on money).   I thought on http://www.ebay.com/itm/HI-FI-Mini-Enter-Lever-DAC-TDA1543-DIR9001-NOS-DAC-Power-supply-DC-12V-1A-NEW-/250954410259?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a6e0c6913 this dac

T-amp http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Mini-MUSE-T-AMP-Digital-HIFI-Stereo-Audio-Amplifier-/250859289372?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a6860fb1c

or - http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260916471312

and speakers - wharfedale laser 130 (for about 70$ second hand)

what do you think?

Thank you:)

Either amp should be fine, but the dac is no good find another dac avoid the nos dacs.

really? just saw here one guy says he prefers this dac than dacmagic here http://www.head-fi.org/t/512389/mini-dac-tda1543-x-4-nos

also what do you say about the speakers?

I would ignore subject reviews of dacs, and look more at the facts and objective information, so whats makes a nos dac sound different, it dips and peaks at the top end of the audiable frequency range around 15khz +3 -3 this could be mistaken for more detail, but you certainly don't want this if your editing or mastering.
Also you want to connect this dac to a speaker amp the speaker amp is designed and built to amp the audiable range 20hz - 20khz , an oversampling dac cuts unwanted high frequencys above 22khz or higher depending on sampling rate a nos dac doesn't so that amp that is designed to amp the audiable 20hz- 20khz range is now being sent frequencys up to the mhz range this will cause all sorts of problems with the amp disortion etc, and this disortion could be mistaken for more warmth or something silly so the nos is said to sound better.

There is only disadvantages with nos get a proper oversampling dac.

I've never heard them speakers, but I really liked the wharfedale diamond range.

ok thanks, I got it. so can you recommend on a budget oversampaling dac?
and another question - a friend of main has a "zero dac" is it oversampling? (I think its this model http://www.ebay.com/itm/09-NEW-EDITION-ZERO-24-192KHZ-DAC-HEAD-AMP-OPA2604-NEW-/250871413333?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a6919fa55 )

thank you for your help :)
