Thats the problem why the dt770 kinda scared me hearing of how clamping they are on big heads like mine. frown.gif 250ohm or 600ohm version?

The thing people don't realize is that the Premium and Pro Beyers are built like tanks. The headband is like bendable steel. If it clamps, you can bend outward a little. They become stupid comfortable.

I go with the 600ohm, but only if you have an amp to back it up. Dunno how strong the soundcards are, as I don't use my soundcard and opt for external amp/dac.

Well I went with the Sennheiser HD650 and I must say they are a dramatic step up from the PC350's! My only gripe is the vise clamp that it puts on my head! :( Does this go away from usage or do I need to bend them into place, preferably not.
