Bought these on whim, for your basic train ride to work I don't mind. But its far from being the best I have own.

First, I should note that I auditioned these both straight out of the box, without any break-in time and then later after 53 hours of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite...

A very all-round headphone for me. Just the right one to take on the go or on holiday. Also as a DJ, nice noice isolation. Very durable so you don't have to wonder if it will break if you throw...

This quick review is done after a few hours of listening. I bought them from B&H for the decent sum of 150$. If you've done your research you'll find out that Ultrasone HPs are known for their...

I auditioned the SRH-1840 straight out of the box, and was unsatisfied with the sound, so I decided to give them a period of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite differences...

I think there will be a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter included. I'm not sure what you will be using as your source but you should be able to use a line out. Why not get a real DAC?

So i decided to get the grado sr 225 i and they are coming home! Just a question ill probably either pick up like a fiio e6 or e11. Im going to buy the line out cable for that. Do i also need one of those 1/4 to 1/8 adapters (i think those are the sizes). To plug into the amp or ipod itself sometimes.
The Grado 225i's do not come with an adapter; it's 1/4" only.
And I'm not sure if the E6 or E11 come with a 1/4" to 1/8" adapter.
Even if you do get an adapter with the E6 or E11, it's definitely worth a step up to get a better connecting cable
than the one which is supplied with either of those amps.
Amazon sells it. http://www.amazon.com/FiiO-L2-3-5mm-Stereo-Cable/dp/B003UCC78I/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1325272054&sr=1-3
And the adapter, made by Grado, can be bought on Amazon too.
Other adapters are also available, such as: http://www.amazon.com/Generic-3-5mm-Adapter/dp/B003VGRDUK/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1325272313&sr=1-3
