A better CD player

Hi guys!  I have a few mid-level CD players (single disc), the "original" Sonographe, a top of the line Rotel and a NAD 521i.  Thinking of upgrading the NAD; what do you recommend in the pre-owned (ebay) market?

...or; what would you think of the Exposure 2010S?

What's your budget?

$500 on the used market.......I can get the Exposure 2010S for even a bit less.  Just got a pair of DCM time windows for that also...

Id look at Rotel and Naim. Check out AudioGoN for used high end audio equipment.

Cifani:  Thanks.  I do have an older Rotel (RCD-9658X) but i would think that the NAD is a better player?  I use the Rotel in my recording studio, so have not really tried it out in my home stereo setup......maybe I should?

Well, that should be a bad thing to do. NAIM makes very solid products, but you do pay a premium for there stuff. I personally dont have a high end CD player, as i was thinking about it but im just jumping to vinyl as i got a killer deal on an investment TT.

Actually, the Rotel I have is the RCD 965BX...supposed to be great...and maybe it is, but I connected both this one and my old NAD to the Emotiva DAC and I actually like the more "musical sound" of the NAD.....go figure!
