well, about a year back i purchased a pair of grado sr125's and im pretty pleased (except them being easily tangled but thats another story)  anyway, im looking to upgrade my setup. currently i have a large library of music in Flac. heres my current configuration

Foobar>ASIO4all>SPDIF coax>sony STR-DH700 receiver> grado sr 125

 

so i guess heres my problem.... i want to get the most benefit for my money.... i dont know weather i should get a soundcard with a built in amp to skip the sony? or should i get a usb/coax dac? or an amp? theres so many directions i can take and i have no idea what i should do.

i do use the sony for multichannel audio.

 

my budget is about 240ish

 

if i were to get a soundcard i was thinking of getting the xonar essence (pci-e version)

any help or suggestions would be awsome thank you in advance
