Postal screw up - whose bum is on the line? - Page 2

If a buyer paid as "gift" via PayPal, you have absolutely no recourse should the item never arrive or partially when and if it ever does.

Also, as a seller for international destinations, it's only right to include the customs number or equivalent if tracking is not purchased.

Again, I want to make those happy I can - I don't give a rats you know what, wether its gifted, paid, accounted for, has a tracking number, a customs number, or the curse of Hella on it - If it shipped, its shipped, if it does not arrive, it does not arrive and i which case the above still counts and I will to my best extent satisfy or help whoever is caught in the crossfire of bad postal services and lack of communication with someone I trust to have done as promised until I've seen proof of anything else.

I may be overreacting due to my current situations - but keep your personal attacks, unreasonable assumptions and thoughts to yourself please. As I mentioned in a prior response; some might find kindness or helping others suspicious on the internet (though the will probably refuse to think so) but I again, don't give a darn. If I can help, then so i shall; and if I make a mess, then damn it, I shall clean it up as best I can.

I made this thread in search of help as for how to do so, not to be mocked and judged by some prejudicial users (If you are not one of them, take no offence) who do not know enough about the specifics to base such assumptions on, not to pass any sort of judgement on me or my friend.

Something has gone terribly wrong somehow, and so be it - now either help me or let me clean it up myself!

From here on I will definitely try to stay away from international dealings, I myself just received a damaged package as well, a damaged Burson amp for those curious - so if you think this a laugh for me, think again.

Thank you!

Don't take this too personal.  What I posted is a fact and a good practice for shipping anything domestic or abroad.  I do hope the situation ends well, but if it doesn't realize well and accept the facts at hand and whatever consequences it may bring to all involved parties.  For future deliveries, if as the seller, you want to protect yourself, and the buyer paid with PayPal, purchase some tracking and you'll have some protection should the package never make it, is damaged, or is received by the buyer, but the buyer denies shipment.

In case you're wondering, that amp being sold again for that exact reason. And the 200$ is just the danish postal services standard as far as i can read on their hompage - all that means is that I or Dorungu, in case the package does indeed not arrive, will have to potentially refund 500$ to Alavan, and simply hope to MAYBE get 200$ if we're lucky and can provide significant proof that it has not arrived which would be hard.

For your interest Dorungu should be home on sunday to respond to emails. And yes, "of course" he is unreachable - its bloody christmas for peaks sakes, some people like to actually celebrate the holiday and take a break.

And to "make up" a person like that, to pass off some scams, and then return all the money a moment later and post on the forums would pre preeetty stupid - Not saying you wouldn't expect me to be that stupid since you seem happy to make all sorts of assumptions.

But as said, money WILL be refunded to Alavan etc. if the package is indeed gone. I am seriously tired of this and would like to have a nice evening tomorrow with out any more crap from this thread or anywhere else. I and Dorungu will be taking this with Alavan and anyone else personally and not in public since people seem to like making assumptions.

I am done with this thread - because its not exactly helping anyone, unless some people enjoy creating drama, making people feel bad and spoiling a holiday - which wouldn't suprise me at the moment. I will for the most part be leaving this site when matters are solved and so on because this is rediculous. I will stick to forums and dealing within Denmark for the most part i think.

Oh and before get get more good ideas, I am also selling my beloved AKG K1000 to fund upcomming complications - So back off, I am as much of a scammer as you or any other regular user of this forum (which your post count and join date suggests ST03 aren't (but lets not make anymore strange assumptions shall we? you might be a fake user made for "trolling me" - No? Ok)) -.-'

For anyone else, happy new year.

Allright, deleting this post and the next one since Victorhalgaard seems to have solved the problem and did the right thing. It looks like he's been taking the blame for his friend mostly. A nice thing to do but not the smartest thing in my opinion.

Sorry I got angry in the end, but also sorry I had to make myself angry.

Listen I'm not interested in hanging out mine nor my friends laundry, clean nor dirty. But the trouble erupted when my PayPal account got locked because over the pas 3 years I've reached the eu limit. And I sent PayPal the info they asked for almost 2 months ago, but they've done nothing, so when the packages got lost I had no way of paying back until I found out that the people who payed me could get their money out by filing a dispute, so Alavan did that and should have his money as well as the guy who received part of the shipment - even though he personally asked for 20$ insurance to pass customs.

But because you sent the money to Dorungu that was not an option since he is broke at the moment. So ive had to sell some gear (which took some time - but I told you that) to get money unto my bank account since I've given up on PayPal. But I've already issued the transfer to you after I sold my Burson amp locally a few days ago and will be sending you a receipt later when I get home.

Deleted as per my post above.

I said I would yes, because I thought that I would have the needed money on my bank account by then which I'd didn't - I just got them a few days ago.

What I meant by aggressie is that you from the beginning threatened with police and visa notification.

And as I have already said I have already issued the transfer, but international bank transfer can take a few days, which is why I will provide you with a receipt for the transaction. As for Alavan we recently figured a way to get his money off my PayPal account which is still locked with my remaining 125$ on it that I can't access. But the method was that if he filed a dispute PayPal themselves would transfer he money which I have a email/receipt saying that they did earlier today.

My fight with PayPal and my local mail service has been going on for two months for me every single day so I'm just exhausted and want to end this - which I hoped would happen. Ow that the final person had been payed back. So would happily beg on my knees, if needed you will leave this be as soon as you have the receipt and your money.

Ok, finally this seems to have been settled in one day now at last.

I received a screenshot confirming the bank transfer of the amount I paid.

I hope everything goes well now and It will appear on my bank account by Friday.

I will update this thread then.

I received word from Alavan he did indeed just receive a refund via PayPal.

If things get sorted out the right way they should be mentioned as well.

I received my payment from VictorHalgaard.

It seems he's an honest trader indeed who unluckily had to clean up the mess his friend made.

Thanks Victor!
