Ok so I have a hifiman EF2A that i use now on my akg 240 studio and my grado sr80i. I just ordered AKG Q701s so I am looking for a solid state amp preferably with a usb dac built in. Any ideas?

Bought these on whim, for your basic train ride to work I don't mind. But its far from being the best I have own.

First, I should note that I auditioned these both straight out of the box, without any break-in time and then later after 53 hours of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite...

A very all-round headphone for me. Just the right one to take on the go or on holiday. Also as a DJ, nice noice isolation. Very durable so you don't have to wonder if it will break if you throw...

This quick review is done after a few hours of listening. I bought them from B&H for the decent sum of 150$. If you've done your research you'll find out that Ultrasone HPs are known for their...

Nuforce Icon uDac or Fiio E10 are two options.
I've never heard the uDac but it seems to be a good performer based off impressions I've read from others.
I have the E10 and enjoy it in my setup. I got subtle changes in sound quality and that's all I was expecting at that price point. The headphone amp portion is pretty impressive though on its own. I am looking into getting a higher grade amp to give it a point of reference though.

I have a Udac 2 HP - the one without the line outs. They can be had for less than $100. Pretty good sound, although there are some reviews which critique its technical performance.
