My apartment got robbed and I lost almost everything valuable, including all my Audio gears (cd player, dac, amp, etc.) What's worse, I got scammed by a Hong Kong guy for $930 recently. Fortunately I put my headphone collection (W3000ANV, W11JPN, ED8LE and ED10) at my girlfriend's house so at least I still have something.

 

FML.

 

Right now I'm in the worst situation I could possibly imagine so I need to sell everything I have at hand to keep myself alive. As mentioned above, I still have my Audio-Technica woodies and top-tier Ultrasone Edition series. Sorry I couldn't take any pictures right now because my camera (Yes, my expensive Leica gears too...) and iphone are gone as well. However, I still have a couple of pics I took 1 month ago. All I can say is that they are in brand new condition, with all the original accessories and box. I replaced W11jpn's ear pads with L3000's leather pads to make the headphones more comfy.

Sometimes, in the aftermath of such cases, the owner might possibly come across a couple of auctions on eBay or the local equivalent, all trying to sell away the stolen stuff.

If your hands aren't tied up, that's something you could try looking into, but that's probably not a good direction to take right now, what with all the immediate issues you have to tackle.

 

Hope you have some supportive friends and/or relatives close by!

 

 

In any case, do beware against any gaps that are still present in your home security; the same perpetrators could try to strike again, or worse, other felons may hear of the incident and decide to try as well.
