Hey guys, thanks for all your help, I finally took the jump this morning and went with the pro 750's + E6 amp + L3 line out.

All in all around £260 with shipping, little more than I intended to spend but still pretty happy, can not wait to get my hands/ears on them :) shame i've got to wait till 4th Jan :(

Thanks again for your time

I believe Trance calls for sub bass over mid bass, so I'll recommend the DT770 pro 80 (which is sub bass heavy for around $200), and XB700 ($80). if the D2000 is anything like the D7000, Those would be stellar for Trance, since the D7000 had the best sub bass I've ever heard.

Good luck! Remember, they won't sound perfect out of the box, so you'll have to hold your impressions until after burn-in!

This is true, I was disappointed with my Pro 750's at first, but after burn-in/brain-in, they sounded great!
