The Sony EX310 are very engaging (crisp, clear mids and fairly wide soundstage) yet offers deep punchy dynamic bass.

Nothing touches the JVC HAFX1X for blast of bass. And the XePort 5010.. You can buy both for less than $50 get your monies worth.

I see that he's also asking around here.

 

He lives in Taiwan where electronics are generally overpriced, so he needs something that ships international for not too much.

MEElectronics SP51, XePort 5010, Focalprice CK-1000 (yeah I'm serious, wanna fight about it?) should all satisfy for less than $50.
