or the HiFiMan RE262? This is the most difficult decision of my life.

I own all of those IEMs except the Soundmagic E10. For the last two days, I have been listening to the RE262 through my new Fiio E10 amp. It's my favorite of the bunch and on those rare tracks when the RE262 isn't adequate, the Fiio E10 bass boost switch solves the problem. If you can't afford or don't want to bother with an amp, then forget the RE262. In that case, my favorite would be the TF10 or GR07.

I spent some time away from my GR07 recently, and when got it back I was almost surprised by how much bass it has. I think it would be more than adequate for your needs, not to mention that rock instruments sound amazing. Also, it's a fantastic all-rounder so you won't be confined to any one genre.

For isolation - 7/10 for the GR07 and 8/10 for the TF10. I wouldn't get the TF10 though. Something about its sound just struck me as 'wrong.' I think its built for electronic music mainly

I probably wouldn't want to bother with an amp, between the TF10 and the GR07, which would you say is better for using on the move?, so things like comfort/isolation.

Thanks a lot Eke, final question about the GR07, is it easy to get a good fit, it was about to buy the TripleFi but I was put off by the number of people struggling with it

Oooh yes! I've used mine for 8 hrs straight, and I didn't feel a thing. You just loop it around your ear, put it in, and it vanishes. I too had problems with the TF10's fit and pressure/vacuum seal

Thanks a lot for your help everyone, this was a much more complex decision than I first assumed.
