Looking for Neutral sounding DAC

I have a Lehmann audio BCL and HD800 which are fead from my iMac using the HRT II+.  I really enjoy the sound from this DAC and it's affordable price tag makes it a real winner.  However I'd like to take another step up the chain and I think the HRT is the next component to be upgraded.  I'm hoping there is an offering in the $600-$800 range which would prove to be worth while. The market for DACs seem to change too fast for me to stay current with the latest and greatest so I thought I would ask you guys.

Thanks.

I'd watch A'goN for a Rega DAC or an Eastern Electric Minimax DAC.  Awesome performance, falls into your price range if you get them used.

It doesn't look like the rega can do 24/96k via USB which I would prefer.  Another DAC I am looking at is the W4S DAC which I hear good things about, but its also pricey at $1499.
