Cheapest DAC board with I2S input?

I am looking for a cheaper DAC that will do I2S input.

Sound quality isn't necessarily a factor if the device is cheap enough, it's more for a proof of concept project.

These are what I know of

  1. Partially populated gamma1
  2. gamma2
  3. OPUS
  4. COD

Is there anything else that might be slightly cheaper?

Make your own?

If you are the kind that can solder wires to pads you could use a grubdac. Omit the PCM2707 and just solder your wires to the I2S pads.

I'd agree, Annoying at the very least.
