Cowon J3 + Grado Gr10.. would it be great ?

Hi, this is my first post and I'm kind of a noob in Hi-fi. The only I know is that I can appreciate sound quality when I listen to it. I've been listening my music for a very too long time on iPod (dead) and cheap sony earphones and now I've decided myself to get some good equipments. I'm student and I will stay at the university for at least the 4 next years and I need to listen my music everywhere I will go and study: bus, library and home. Thus, I don't want to go with headphone that would be nightmare to move from a place to another in a school bag.

I'm about to buy both the cowon J3 player 32GB (264$ on ncix)  and the grado Gr10 earphone (369$ on stereotype-audio). What do you think about that kit ?

I don't know a lot about impedance and I'm worried that the J3 wouldn't amp the earphone enough to get a good sound quality ?

Also, if you know somewhere else I could get a better deal (in Canada) let me know. I'm really about to buy this. Just waiting for the reply before I break the bank.

Thx in advance.

I've read that the J3 player have a maximum output of 16 ohm. What's happens if the grado gr10 have an impedance of 32 ohm ? How will be the sound ?

There should be no problems. My J3 could drive my 150 ohm IEMs without any issues.. I don't know how sensitive the Grados are, but ohm wise there should be no problems.

The Grado GR10 will pair well with Cowon J3 (loud and clear without AMPs help). The Sony EX1000+Sony X1060 are also amazing soundquality portable setup.
