These IE80's were purchased directly through BestBuy, and I received them just earlier today. However, after having spent quite a few days time with my loaner set of IE80's (courtesy of my cousin, for which I thank him dearly), I've opted to keep my Audeo PFE232's. As such, my own IE80's remain unopened, and I intend to leave them that way. Off of sound alone, I don't prefer either one over the other. They're both truly exceptional in-ears. It's outside of sound where I've come to prefer the PFE232, for it's interchangeable filters, included extra microphone cable, and added isolation. Now, while it's obvious I'm taking a significant loss, I didn't wish to take the riskier route, at the cost of Sennheiser's standard 2YR warranty. Hence, the added peace of mind when purchasing through an authorized dealer is always worth it in my eyes, especially considering that 2 years is a long time, and you never know what to expect. I'll of course include a copy of the original sales receipt for warranty purposes. The price is firm, at $xxx shipped, after Paypal fees. I'm also willing to ship internationally, at buyer's expense of course.
