$150-$170 Dollar Budget, What's best for me?

Hey everyone,

I have $150-$170 dollar budget and I'm looking to find the best in-ear headphones for me. I listen to every genre of music, but if I had to slice it down it would be mostly Punk Rock (Like Rise Against, Anti-Flag, etc). I'm looking for headphones that have very detailed sound, not too flat, but also have tamed highs. I have earbuds in for over four hours a day, so comfort is also a huge thing.

Originally I was looking at Audio Technica M50S, but the cords way to long, and I have been told the portability isn't all that great- which unfortunately is a deal breaker because I ride the bus for three hours a day, and they'll be crammed with textbooks in my bag.

Thanks a lot, and have a Happy New Year!

The UE TF10Pro, HF3, Klipsch Image X10 are recommended and they all are very detailed ( they do not offers extended highs) with good bass response.

I recommend the GR07. It has some of the best drums, guitars, and vocals you can find in a universal IEM. It's fantastic with rock too. There are a few on the FS forums for less than $150

I say the TF10's (I'm a fan boy I know) which are good all around performers and since they're discontinued they will start to be harder to get and the price will start to go up.  The JVC HA-FXT90 and Vsonics GR07 would be good dynamic driver IEM's and all are right in your price range.

For IEMs, the GR07s and if you want a portable headphone, the V-Moda M80.  Both can be had for right around your price range.

If you still get hold of, the Sony Mdr-7506 might be suitable for you. Comfortable, durability wise I'm not too sure but it sounded great to me. Bass aren't over whelming though so if you're a bass head than this is not your cup of tea.
