Which T amp should I use to power Sony SS-F6000 towers?

My roommates and I are looking to get a new sound system for our college house. We have Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speakers right now but they're not quite loud enough nor have as much bass as we'd like (for having parties at our house). We use a Macbook Pro as an audio source.

After lurking this forum for a while, I realized that T amps are a cheaper alternative to powering passive speakers than a stereo receiver. I was wondering though, if I were to purchase the Sony SS-F6000 floor standing speakers (180w max power handling), what wpc T amp would you all recommend? We want the speakers to be louder than our current Promedia 2.1 speakers so I don't know if something like this would cut it: http://www.amazon.com/Lepai-Tripath-TA2020-Class-T-Amplifier/dp/B0049P6OTI/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1325003262&sr=1-2

Can anyone offer suggestions as to the best (and preferably cheapest) way to power these?

Thank you in advance!

The Lepai is probably not the optimum T amp pick.

The good news is, the Sonys are fairly sensitive (89 db). That means you don't need a monster to make them work.

My quick pick would be the $89 50 wpc channel t amp from Parts Express: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=300-383

Hmm how tight is your budget? I would seriously consider the Sherwood RX-4105 for entry level but beefy stereo amp hehe
