Best IEM for $100-150 - Page 2

Okay. I have decided to go either with the Klipsch Image X10s or POSSIBLY Sennheiser IE7s? Which are better for the categories listed in the first post?

Comfort wise, The X10 will win hands down to most any other IEM, (Probably not custom molds though, but that's a totally different class.) As for having nice bass, the Klipsch wins over the TF10, but overall, the TF10 has much better sound. They're both good, but the TF10 excels in the sound department... if you can figure out how to get the thing in your ear.

I have the X10 and TF10, and overall, the TF10 sounds a good deal better, but has less bass, and fit is a pain (I have quite large ear canals, and most people can hardly stand the thing.)

I guess I'm trying to say that personally, I will shove something into my ear until it feels like it's a needle in my brain. Comfort takes a back seat to sound, but if it doesn't for you, you are much safer with the X10, as it sounds very good, and is the most comfortable... If only they could get those three magical drivers into the X10.

I'd take gr07 over the x10's anyday. It trumps it in all regards honestly.

I'm unable to find a single one on ebay, and I can't find any available ones on here. Somebody help please!

Try posting a wanted ad in the for sale forum, my friend. Even if there are no current listings, you may just convince someone to sell theirs, if they encounter a prospective buyer. wink.gif

They are available on audiocube but current price is higher than they were selling here and on online stores couple years ago.

If you like DON'T something with a DEEP fit...this includes:
IE8's IE7's and X10, I would look elsewhere. Can't suggest something, seems like on head-fi the vsonics seem to be a good choice

For these 3 IEM's they really need to penetrate, and no I'm not joking, your ear to sound good.

X10's disappear in your ear, but at the same time its like putting a needle in your ear (so really depends on your ear canals)

For the IE7's and 8's they sit loosely on your ear, but then again you won't get ANY BASS until PROPERLY inserted in your ears.

That said you can sleep on them :)

I would have suggested the TFTA 1XB's, but your certainly can't sleep on them.

Those have the biggest bass of any earphones, and headphone I've ever heard...and i use them everyday.
