Wear Style: over-the-ear

Hi all, smile.gif

How many of you guys wear your IEM's with the cables routed over top of your ears?

That's how I wear all of mine unless it's difficult to do so with them or if I'm doing comparisons and popping them in and out every couple of minutes. Makes the most sense when on the go too.

With over-the-ear routing, does that mean that the Y of the cord will be

behind your head and that the cord eventually flows down your back?

It just means wearing them like this:

Oh OK ... thanks. smile.gif

Unless physically impossible, I wear over the ear.  Sometimes it's not possible due to asymetric styling, or some other obstructions stopping it.

I like it over the ear, and memory wire helps with this.

I wear most of my IEMs over the ear if it's possible. Unless I find wearing them cable down is more comfortable.

I still have the y-split at the front, not behind me.

I have to as I only own the MeElec M6 which are designed to only be worn that way. (At least if you want to wear them correctly)

I hate over-the-ear.

the wires never seem to stay were they should be unless they are tightened, and in that case I find them irritating.

My favorite way to avoid microphonics: I put the Y-piece in my collar behind me, so the central cord does not pull on the phones.
