Beats by Dre Question

I purchased Beats Studios off of Craigslist and they look pretty legit except for some accessories inside. The airplane adapter piece doesnt stick out much, small things like that. However, the 7 digit serial number registered for a warranty online. Does this mean they are real? BTW they sound amazing, the headphones themselves are great.

You obviously haven't listened to good pair of headphones then.

You could buy some quality headphones for the fraction of the price for Studios regardless if they are used or not. I'm by no means an expert, so take some suggestions from experienced audiophiles. I can tell you, however, that Beats are a joke.

I am not asking for recommendations of better headphones, I am asking for help to verify the ones I currently own -_-

There is no reason to dig on a noob...perhaps educate...

Beats by Dre...you are paying for a name, they are not BAD headphones but not studio-grade...I am 1000% sure Dr Dre does not use them in his studio

I would suggest Ultrasone as well...750s probably the BEST closed phone for the price, especially for the pro-sumer...as well the DJ1PRO by ultrasone has more of a hip-hop styling as they are for DJs....also the Sennheiser 25 II (they have an addidas version)

It's difficult to educate someone who won't accept it. You only want to hear about Beats.

I understand that other headphones are better, but you are all misunderstanding the question I asked.

I already own the headphones I bought, I am asking a question about verification.

I think we all understand, it's just a matter of us trying to get you to make a wise purchase and avoid the aforementioned one.

Im not going to spend more money lol, I am going to stick with what I have bought for now. Once again, I am simply asking for help with a verification question, not to hear every recommendation that is irrelevant to me at this moment.

I'm sorry for the bad responses. How in the world do they think they'll convince you by attacking you? Are you any good at DIY? Could you open them up and compare photos of the drivers with those online?

Sincerely,

If the serial code works I would assume so, did the guy you buy it from not offer to show you a receipt? There are also videos on youtube that help determine fake beats, watch a few of those, they should answer some questions.
