Have RS170 xmitter and two HDR 170 headphones. Wish to pair both and have individual volume adjustment per manual, p.27. Fail.
Followed instructions many times to pair mulitple sets of headphones. Only way that works is to follow instructions for pairing headphones pushing ALL (i.e. both headphones & xmitter) "multi-function" buttons. This gets both headphones accepting sound but does not allow each headphone to control volume. In fact, changing the volume of one headphone changes sound volume of other in correspongind manner. Guessing this is because of technique used to get sound to both headphone sets. So the question is: how do you pair two HDR 170s to RS170 so that a) both headphones get sound volume AND b) each headphone is individually adjustable for volume? TIA for any help!
