Shure SE535 Comfort Issues

Got these for Christmas yesterday, and man is the fit bothering me. The fit decently into the ear, but any sort of tug on the cable ends up pulling them out of my ear. I can't see myself moving around with these on and expecting them to stay.

Am I suppose to take off that silicone cable that comes at the start of the IEM's themselves? It's thick and doesn't seem to want to bend around my ear properly.

Might return these if I can't get a proper fit with them. Shame, because these things sound damn great.

Bend them around your index finger and hold for about 30 secs., when you release them, the circle made should be just the right size for your ears. This way they will sit more securely and comfortably in and around your ears. That's how I got mine to sit more securely in my ears.

If you love their sound but couldn't get a good fit, getting custom tips or re-shelling may not be a bad idea too.
