You would not be able to appreciate customs if you don't know how to appreciate top-tier universals. Just like how I was unable to appreciate at least the Shure SE530s until I tried mid-end IEMs at least. And Ultimate Ears are not the only custom IEM company around ^^, it's good to look around for other, more worth it brands.
At $150, there isn't anything on the streets that can beat it. Unless you can find a place with a great marked down discount.
